If you could start any kind of business, what would it be?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 30, 2007:
I’m increasingly interested in how creators can make a living through online activity. A publishing company focused on online delivery would be ideal to explore this. I’d initially focus on how to present fiction in ways that are in tune with the medium of websites; easily digested, easily followed and interactive would be key traits of the way I’d try to frame the content. Comics and graphic novels are prime for online reading, I believe, so I’d include that as a major initiative for the company.

Hi,
Being in the midst of writing a book i am drawn and intrigued by your train of thought. I have no idea how, where or when to atemp to promote my work. But I do know why.
Any more developments would be of interest to me. Would be a potential learning device for both…
Positive Regards,
Catherine
I'm focusing on my own writing at the moment as well. Starting a business at this point is a bit out of reach for me, unless some generous investors appear.
I'd certainly be interested in sharing ideas for promoting writing. Right now I'd love to find a way to monetize what writing I'll be doing over the next year.
I guess I misunderstood as I imagined that you were exploring promoting, pubicizing and marketing manuscripts on line. Today I down loaded one large review summary and one entire book on line. (not yet read, but through zaada links).
In your last line your goals and your writing apear to have goals in common. Popular volume attraction…..
