One of my most vivid memories of my grandmother is from the last few months of her life, as she was dying of cancer. I was spending a few hours with her in the evening putting together a puzzle. She often had them underway as I was growing up and putting the pieces together was something we shared throughout the years.
I remember there being a certain strength about her then that I can't pin down. It wasn't a defiance or an acceptance as such, but she had a resolute manner about her that night that I have often forgotten when thinking of her, but that seems to be the essence of who she was.
In placing the puzzle pieces we were sharing a quite space filled with more value than any words she could have offered.

My ideal day would begin with meditation, follow into resistance training, move into breakfast and begin in earnest. I'd catch up on daily reading, do a chunk of writing of my own, throw in a meal or two and polish up my commitments. I'd connect with some of the wonderful folks I'm blessed with knowing and spend a few hours out and about exploring whereever I am.
I may be easy to please, but that really is my ideal life. I'd like to think it ties in to the important aspects of life in my self, culture and nature. How do I get there? I can't quite figure out how to live this everyday, but I work on it.

I can't actually remember any instances when I was mistaken for someone else. I suppose my appearance is odd enough that I'm not often mistakable.

Having breakfast with my friend Cerra, her boyfriend Matt and Gwen was the nicest part of my day. I don't often get to spend time with my friends, so it was nice to get out, enjoy good food and share conversation.

I believe in God in the sense meant by Godhead, as the unmanifest, the ground, source and evolutionary directive of all things. Godhead, as the mystics understand it, is consciousness itself, our original face, the very suchness of everything that arises. And how could I doubt that?

I'm feeling the most growth in myself in the faculty of focus and attention. I find myself better able to focus and cut out distractions than I have been in a long while. I'm hoping to hone this and apply it to my studies as the year progresses.

Much of my wisdom would be shared by the community here at Zaadz. What I would share now is a very simple and broad piece of wisdom. My favourite expression of it comes in the form of lyrics from a Collective Soul song, "Blame".

I think I would spend an additional day this week in meditation. I've been out of my meditation routine this past month and would like to jump back in to a strong practice. I might begin with a Big Mind session, do some holosync-aided meditation and some traditional sitting and walking meditations.

My main goal this month is to create strong patterns in my studies that I can carry forward through this year. I'm hoping to create organizational and time management plans that I can work within and live a life that's stable and productive.
